Have you ever made a character *just* to have an armor set?
I've done it once already; male Vabbian armor on an elementalist. Trying to actually play on him more so I can feel better about the money spent.
Now I want to make a Necromancer for his FoW set >.>
What about you?

No.Good Luck on getting that FoW set as I gave up on mine for my Monk as I will not do UWSC.Ecto and Shards is getting harder to get for the casual farmer and player.

lol that sounds crazy to me, but mostly because I couldn't bring myself to play through the game again. it'd be nice if you learned some news things along the way but it really doesn't matter in the long run. some people love collecting armor and have a lot of fun in the process so do whatever you gotta do to enjoy yourself

I've always wanted to have a Necromancer anyway, and I can't think of much to spend money/time on other than a new character.
What would really affect my decision is if I knew exactly how the HoM will preserve your armor and titles. Like if I had a title on one character, FoW on another; would I be able to show off both at at time in GW2?

Do you guys ever feel like you 'have' to play that character so you wouldn't have wasted that money? Or is looking at them on the log-in screen enough?

Male ele. 15k Kurzick armor.
I don't feel bad over the time and money spent for the armor, since in the process he's pretty much become my main character.
I also made a male sin for the regular Luxon armor. Haven't played him much since getting it.

Made a Derivsh and took him through Nightfall just to get Primeval armor. Never use him except to open free chests and the very very very rare Alliance Battle.
A shame too, I kind of like him, I just can't bring myself to take him through another campaign.

I played my derv through nightfall until Kodash Bazaar, bought Vabbian armor, and haven't touched her since. She makes a very pretty mule. <3

Yes. I made my Male Ele just for 15k Luxon, dyed red. I saw it on the wiki at some point and fell in love.
